The outside veneer of the Pennington chest is made of genuine Birchwood and distressed with pin holes and painted brush marks that give it an antique look. The front of this chest creates the illusion of four drawers and two doors complemented by decorative antique brass-plated handles. The interior is fully lined with Eastern Red Cedar veneer and has an airtight aluminum sealing strip to preserve personal treasures. A self-rising divided storage tray with acid-free green lining comes up when the top is opened.
