Notched corners are a subtle finish to the platform base. Bolt-on bed rails and three slats with a center support keep it all safe and secure - no box spring required. Flat side rails are included with the bed only but you can choose to add storage drawers below the bed on one or both sides. Each storage rail is outfitted with two spacious framed storage drawers built with strengthening dovetail joinery smooth ball-bearing guides and antique brass-finished knobs.
