The City Club Oxford 6 Drawer Chest has the grooved side columns offset molding blocks and gently tapered feet you'd find in a treasured antique but it truly shines for what it doesn't have. No fuss no high-falutin' filigree.Made in the USA of maple and select hardwood solids with cherry and mahogany veneers this dresser has five lower drawers and one narrow chest-spanning upper drawer. All are dotted with round pulls that have concentric rings tiny bead detailing and a mottled brass finish. The pulls coordinate perfectly with the Blair finish a ruddy blend of red and brown that's the result of hand waxing gentle distressing and other hand-wrought techniques.You can group this chest with other pieces in the City Club collection for the complete look. City Club Oxford 9 Drawer Dresser
As smart as an Oxford grad and as stylish as the city the City Club Oxford 9 Drawer Dresser would look right at home packed on a steamer train or carriage bound for a country estate. It's all thanks to the tapered bun feet hand-polished side columns and nine drawers: six full-sized two smaller ones with raised panels and a small one in the top center. All the drawers are dotted with round drawer pulls in a mottled bronze finish.Part of the City Club bedroom collection this dresser is crafted in the USA from maple and select hardwood solids with cherry and mahogany veneers in a part-red part-brown finish called Blair. Look closely and you'll see cow tail distressing channel cut corner molding and a burnished effect throughout. With both finishes you'll get a variety of hand-rubbed burnished and distressed effects that all combine to create a highly livable totally lovable piece.And then there's the stylish symmetry. With eight drawers this dresser is banded down the center with a polished column that creates a focal point for the curvy shape. Little details like stacked lower moldings a top edge profile and angled corners create a look that might remind you of the Provencal countryside. The two top drawers feature dual pulls while the lower drawers have a rosette ring pull right in the center.
